3 Simple Steps for Pirelli Warranty Claim

Step 1:

• Pirelli's Limited Warranty covers all new Pirelli Original Equipment and Replacement Passenger and Light Truck tyres with a complete D.O.T. identification number, purchased in the USA or Canada through an authorized Pirelli dealer or distributor, and mounted on passenger or light truck vehicles for primary use.

• The warranty extends to the first retail purchaser of the tyre, or to the original owner of the vehicle on which Pirelli tyres are fitted as Original Equipment. The warranty is non-transferable tyres transferred from the vehicle on which they were originally installed are not eligible for warranty coverage.

• Have your original sales invoice or proof of purchase ready before visiting a dealer. If the purchase date is not clear on the invoice, the date of manufacture printed on the tyre will be used to determine eligibility.

Step 2:

• All Pirelli warranty claims must be initiated in person at an authorized Pirelli dealer claims cannot be submitted directly to Pirelli. Use the Dealer Locator at pirelli's official website to find your nearest authorized location.

• Bring the affected tyre(s) and your original proof of purchase to the authorized dealer. The dealer will inspect the tyre and, if a covered condition is identified, will submit the tyre to Pirelli on your behalf. Pirelli's Tire Inspection Personnel will then authorize the remedy.

• For Original Equipment tyres fitted on a new vehicle, your vehicle manufacturer's authorized dealer can assist in initiating the warranty claim. For replacement tyres, return to the authorized Pirelli dealer where you originally purchased them.

Step 3:

• If the tyre is confirmed defective and within the free replacement period (first year from purchase or first 2/32 inch of tread use, whichever comes first), Pirelli will replace it with an identical or comparable Pirelli tyre at no charge, including mounting and balancing. Miscellaneous fees and taxes are not covered.

• If the defect occurs after the initial free period but within the overall warranty window (up to 6 years from purchase), a pro-rated replacement tyre is provided the cost is determined by multiplying the percentage of tread already worn by the dealer's current selling price. Mounting and balancing charges are the owner's responsibility in this case.

• Once the tyre is returned to Pirelli through an authorized dealer and credit is issued, the tyre becomes the property of Pirelli. Pirelli reserves the right to refuse return of a tyre submitted for warranty, whether or not warranty coverage was provided.
